XMUM Wins Gold Award at the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Competition
Innovation Center congratulates the 13 XMUM teams who brought home 1 Gold Award, 1 Silver Award and 11 Bronze Awards from the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (“Internet+” Competition).This is the first time that a XMUM team has won Gold Award at “Internet+” Competition. To date, XMUM students has taken home a total of 29 awards (1 Gold Award, 6 Silver Awards, and 22 Bronze Awards) from “Internet+” competitions.

Inter-University Infographic Competition Held by XMUM IChemE Student Chapter
An inter-university infographic competition was held by XMUM IChemE Student Chapter from April to September 2021, encouraging students to undertake literature review in chemical engineering (CME) -related fields and showcase their creativity through the design of infographics.

Jocelyn Lim Jean Yi Wins IChemE POPSIG Student Research Project Bursary 2021
The Research Management Center congratulates Jocelyn Lim Jean Yi, an undergraduate student from the Department of Chemical Engineering, XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, for being awarded the IChemE Palm Oil Processing Special Interest Group (POPSIG) Student Research Project Bursary 2021.This bursary offers fund for students to conduct original research in palm oil-related sectors. Jocelyn Lim is the only undergraduate students among the four recipients.

The Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (MAT) welcomed the students of 2021/09 intake with a heartwarming online party on 2 October 2021.The event started with an opening speech by the Programme Coordinator, Prof. Teo Lee Peng, followed by the MAT Student Council Presidium, Liew Yi Qing and Li Chengyi.
