The Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR) congratulates Prof. Zheng Jincheng, the Director of XMUM Innovation Center, for publishing a research paper entitled “A single-atom library for guided monometallic and concentration-complex multimetallic designs” in Nature Materials (impact factor: 38.887) as one of the corresponding authors.

The Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research congratulates Lau Hui Shen, Lau Siew Kei, Soh Leong Sing, Hong Seang Uyin, Gok Xie Yuen, and Associate Professor Dr. Yong Wai Fen from the XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for the recent article published in Membranes, an SCI Q2 journal with a latest impact factor of 4.106.

CME Students Shine at Institution of Chemical Engineers Student Chapters Malaysia Competition & Convention
12 XMUM students won multiple awards at the Institution of Chemical Engineers Student Chapters Malaysia Competition & Convention (ICMCC 2022), which was held from 8 to 28 May 2022.With the theme of “Expanding the Horizon of Chemical Engineers Competencies”, ICMCC 2022 was composed of a series of talks, workshops, forums and competitions, including 5 Minutes Tech Splash and Innovation & Invention Competition.

The Award Ceremony for the Second China-Malaysia Young Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held online on 14th May 2022. His Excellency Ouyang Yujing, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Malaysia, attended the Ceremony as the guest-of-honour.

Department of Journalism and Advertising Co-hosts the 7th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication 2022
XMUM Department of Journalism and Advertising co-hosted the 7th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication (MEDCOM) 2022 on 5-7 May 2022. This online event contained 7 keynote speech sessions and 47 oral presentations by researchers and professionals from 35 countries. This is the third time that the Department of Journalism and Advertising has collaborated with the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) to organize this conference.
