MBA Students Explore China's Business World
51 staff and students from MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme, Xiamen University Malaysia paid a study trip to China from 22 to 26 October 2023, to network with faculty members and students from the main campus and delve into the heart of China's business world.
This study mission underscored the programme's steadfast dedication to cultivating a globally oriented education that places a special emphasis on non-formal learning, transcending traditional boundaries and fostering holistic development.
Dr. Tee Keng Kok, the MBA Director, elabrorated: “The programme is not merely an educational endeavor; it represents a dynamic leap forward for the Malaysian campus, offering a distinctive, multi-dimensional approach to education rooted in practical experiences in China's business landscape.”
During the study mission, aside from attending lectures in the campus and networking events, students ventured into the heart of China's business world, visiting local companies, and engaging with industry leaders. “This direct exposure will provide our students with invaluable insights into China's intricate business landscape and its geopolitical nuances,” said Dr. Tee Keng Kok.
Quek Zhy Hgu, the student leader emphasized, "Beyond learning, this tour served as a dynamic networking platform, bringing together students, alumni, faculty, and seasoned business leaders. The connections forged during this journey paved the way for future collaborations and enduring professional relationships."
