Department of Journalism and Advertising Co-hosts the 7th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication 2022
XMUM Department of Journalism and Advertising co-hosted the 7th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication (MEDCOM) 2022 on 5-7 May 2022. This online event contained 7 keynote speech sessions and 47 oral presentations by researchers and professionals from 35 countries. This is the third time that the Department of Journalism and Advertising has collaborated with the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) to organize this conference.

XMUM Holds the Materials Lecture Competition 2022
On 13 May 2022, XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering successfully organized XMUM Materials Lecture Competition (XMUM-MLC) 2022.In this lecture-based competition, each participant was asked to deliver a 15-minute presentation related to Materials or Mineral Science and Engineering, and answer questions from 3 different judges. The event was co-hosted by Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR).

Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar & Students’ Papers Accepted by ICAICA 2022
Two research papers by Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar and students from XMUM School of Computing and Data Science have been accepted by 2022 IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Applications (ICAICA 2022), which will be held in Dalian, China, from 24 to 26 June 2022.

Software Engineering Student Receives Silver Award at EDGII 2022
XMUM School of Computing and Data Science congratulates Tan Xin Yii, a 2019/04 intake undergraduate of Software Engineering programme, on receiving the Silver Award at Educational Design, Games, Invention & Innovation Competition 2022 (EDGII), which took place from 28 November 2021 to 15 April 2022 virtually. Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar is the research’s supervisor.

NESE Students Publish in Science of the Total Environment
The Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research congratulates Kyle Sebastian Mulya, Zhou Jinqin, Phuang Zhen Xin, and Assistant Professor Ts. Dr. Vincent Woon Kok Sin from XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for their recent publication in Science of the Total Environment, an SCI Q1 journal with a latest impact factor of 7.963.
