Chemical Engineering Undergraduates Publishes in SCI Q1 Journal
Research Management Center congratulates undergraduate students Foo Wei Han (first author) and Sherlyn Koay Sze Ning (co-author) from Chemical Engineering Programme, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, on publishing a review article entitled “The Conundrum of Waste Cooking Oil: Transforming Hazard into Energy”.With Dr. Chew Kit Wayne as the corresponding author, this work is a collaboration with University of Nottingham Malaysia.
Final Year Undergraduate Publishes on Hazardous Gas Removal in SCI Tier 1 Journal as First Author
Research Management Center congratulates final year undergraduate student Anupreetha Parthiban from Chemical Engineering Programme on publishing a review article entitled “Disposal methods, health effects and emission regulations for sulfur hexafluoride and its by-products” as the first author.The review paper was published online on 14 May 2021 in the Journal of Hazardous Materials (latest Impact Factor: 9.038).
Queen Mary University of London Signs MOAs with XMUM
On 10 May 2021, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) officially signed two Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) with Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) in the presence of Prof. Colin Grant, QMUL Vice-Principal (International) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhang Ying, Assistant President of XMUM.

Prof. Kenneth Szulczyk from XMUM School of Economics and Management for publishing two articles on eco-friendly economy in Renewable Energy and Journal of Cleaner Production, respectively, as the first and corresponding author.Both journals are ranked SCI Q1 and classified as Tier-1 by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
