Chemical Engineering Students Win First Place in IEM Integrated Design Project Short Video Competition 2022
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates final-year students Koh Hau Sern, Loh Hoi Xin, Fang Xiao, and Huang Jun from Chemical Engineering (CME) programme for being awarded First Place in the IEM Integrated Design Project Short Video Competition. The four-member team was supervised by Dr. Yee Kian Fei, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yong Wai Fen and Asst. Prof. Dr. Fu Jile.
XMUM Signs MoU with the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), allowing students from Chemical Engineering programme and Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme to network with engineers from IEM, being exposed to the professional engineering field through lectures, courses, forums, talks, seminars and other events.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre wishes to congratulate all scholars who have been successful in obtaining the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia in 2022 and received a total of RM 692,552.00 for six projects.These projects are from School of Mathematics and Physics, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, as well as School of Economics and Management.
