XMUM Wins First & Second Prizes at the 13th PwC Cup “24H” Business Challenge 2022
Two groups of students from XMUM School of Economics and Management won the First and the Second Prizes at the 13th PwC Cup “24H” Business Challenge 2022, a business case analysis competition organized by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and sponsored by PwC China.

Dr. Haw Choon Yian & Collaborators Publish in Applied Surface Science
The Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research congratulates Assistant Professor Dr. Haw Choon Yian from XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for publishing a research article in Applied Surface Science, a Tier 1-SCI journal with a latest impact factor of 6.707, as one of the corresponding authors.

Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to China, YB Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing Visits XMUM
The Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the People’s Republic of China cum Chairman of Malaysia-China Business Council (MCBC), YB Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 21 June 2022. He was accompanied by Mr. Samuel Lee, the Chief Executive Officer of MCBC.

Software Engineering Student Wins Third Prize at 13th Lan Qiao Cup Professional Computer Contest (Fujian Province)
Liu Aofan, a second-year student from XMUM Software Engineering Programme, has won third prize at the 13th Lan Qiao Cup Professional Computer Contest (Fujian province).Hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, Lan Qiao Cup is the largest professional computer contest in China. More than 1,200 colleges and universities in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, participate in the competition.

Accounting Students Shine at 20th National Inter-Varsity Accounting Quiz
A group of four students from XMUM School of Economic and Management received the second runner-up prize at National Inter-Varsity Accounting Quiz (N-IVAQ), a yearly event organised by Multimedia University since 2001.All the four participants - Mavis Mok Jing Xun, Stephanie Salim, Janice Claresta Setiadi and Griya Loani Abira Sukma - are second-year students from XMUM Accounting Programme. The 12th Talk of XMUM Humanities Forum was held online on 9 May 2022, with an audience of about 300 people.During the forum, Prof. Zheng Zhenman from Xiamen University gave a public talk themed“Temple Network in Fujian and Southeast Asia: Analysis of Religious Inscriptions”.
