University of Auckland Seeks Partnership with XMUM
On 18 November 2022, Prof. Partha Roop, the Associate Dean (International) of the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Auckland (UOA), visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) to seek further partnership.The discussion involves establishing a Postgraduate Study Pathway in the field of Engineering, in particular the Master of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and the Master of Chemical and Materials Engineering. A common goal was met by both institutions to nurture young talents in the field of Engineering.

Prof. Steven Roberts, Dean of the College of Business and Economics of Australian National University (ANU), visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 17 November 2022 to enhance the current collaboration between the two institutions.The discussion focused on establishing two new programmes, namely Finance and Accounting, when renewing the current partnership while expanding the area of student exchange program and research collaboration.

XMUM Campus Career Fair 2022 Connects Students with Employers
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) held its second Campus Career Fair on 23 November 2022, attracting about 2,000 participants to join the event.Organized by XMUM Career Services Office, 49 top industry leaders set up booths at the fair and provided more than 500 employment opportunities and 200 internship placements to XMUM students and graduates.

Alumni Stories | Zheng Zixin: A Journey with Friends and Linguistics
A graduate of Department of Chinese Studies, Xiamen University Malaysia, in Aug 2019, 21-year-old Zheng Zixin joined Xiamen University to pursue his Master's degree. Three years later, he went on to the Chinese University of Hong Kong for PhD study, continuing his journey with Chinese dialectology.
