XMUM Students Participate in WikiSelera 2025: Francophone Gastronomy
On 7 November 2025, four students from the English Language and Literature programme, who are also taking French as a major elective and second foreign language, represented Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) in WikiSelera 2025: Francophone Gastronomy.Organised by Wikimedia Malaysia in collaboration with the French Embassy in Malaysia and Alliance Française Kuala Lumpur, the event aimed to produce a bilingual Malay-French recipe book on Francophone cuisine, giving participants the opportunity to explore Francophone culture while contributing to global open knowledge.

Delegation from IEEE Multimedia University Visits XMUM
On 7 November 2025, a delegation from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Multimedia University (MMU) Student Branch visited IEEE Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) Student Branch for a collaborative session.Organized by the IEEE XMUM Student Brand and led by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of XMUM, the event served as a platform for students from both universities to connect, share experience, and strengthen bonds within the IEEE community.

AED Donation Ceremony and First Aid Training Held at XMUM
At 10 am on 10 November 2025, a first aid training session was held at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). The session opened with a question from Dr. Li Linlin, Deputy Director of Health Management at Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital, Xiamen University:"What should you do if a classmate suddenly collapses in class?"Using this real-life scenario as a beginning, Dr. Li Linlin introduced some essential life-saving techniques, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
