X-Awards 2025 Celebrates Excellence in Student Leadership and Engagement
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) successfully hosted the X-Awards 2025 on 5 December 2025 (Friday) at the Tan Hua Choon Auditorium, bringing together approximately 600 attendees for an evening dedicated to celebrating student excellence, leadership, and impactful contributions to campus life.
TCM Students Participate in Orthopedic Therapy Training Course in Johor
A total of 114 students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University Malaysia participated in the First Lin’s Orthopedic Therapy Training Course, held from 13 to 14 December 2025 at the Millésimé Hotel, Johor. The course featured several experienced specialists in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) orthopedics, who shared their clinical experience and provided systematic instruction on the theoretical foundations and clinical applications of Lin’s Orthopedic Therapy.
XMUM Students Shine at Huawei ICT Competition Malaysia
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) achieved notable results at the Huawei ICT Competition Malaysia 2025-2026, securing a total of six awards, including two Grand Prizes in the Computing Track and Cloud Track.
XMUM Students Perform at Malaysian Annual Character Announcement Ceremony
On 14 December 2025, XMUM Student Arts Dance Troupe was invited to perform at Malaysian Annual Character Announcement Ceremony 2025, which was held in Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam. The troupe presented the classic dances Lanting Xu and Liang Zhu, receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience. The performance was covered by major Malaysian media as well as Chinese media.
2025 Global Chinese Marine Science Symposium Held at XMUM
The 2025 Global Chinese Marine Science Symposium, together with the 14th Cross-Strait Symposium on Marine Science and the 11th Cross-Strait Symposium on Marine Environmental Monitoring and Forecasting Technologies, took place from 27 to 30 November, at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM).
Robotics and Automation Engineering Students Visit AirAsia RedQ
On 21 November 2025, a group of 40 students from the Robotics and Automation Engineering Programme, School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (SAIR) of Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) visited AirAsia RedQ accompanied by 4 academic staff members. The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Jian Ding, the Head of Robotics and Automation Programme.
