Dr. Tan Jian Ping Appointed National Bioenergy Advisor by SEDA Malaysia
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Jian Ping from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), has been appointed Technical Advisor on Bioenergy to the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia.
TCM Students Contribute to Community Health Efforts in Seremban
Twenty-four students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), took part in the Sin Chew Carnival and the 112th Anniversary Charity Sale on 13 July 2025, held at Seremban Chung Hua High School.The event, organised in collaboration with the Negeri Sembilan Chinese Physicians' & Druggist's Association, aimed to promote public health awareness through traditional Chinese medicine.

Global Energy Independence Day Exhibition Opens at XMUM Library
In conjunction with Global Energy Independence Day, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) Library, in collaboration with the School of Engineering and Chemical Engineering (SECE), hosts a themed exhibition titled Bright Ideas for a Greener Future. The event features displays and materials contributed by SECE research centres, student groups, and academic staff. It aims to promote awareness of sustainable practices and highlight how engineering research can support environmental innovation.
TCM Students Visit UMMC's Clinical Research Centre for Medical Ethics Learning
A total of 39 third-year students from School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) visited the Clinical Investigation Centre (CIC) at University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), as part of their Medical Ethics course. The academic visit was led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Tan Hong Yien and Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Aslam.
