A3 Library Opens to Welcome StudentsThe A3 Library of Xiamen University Malaysia soft-launched on 26 May 2023, accommodating staff and students’ needs for study and research while providing comprehensive services for knowledge exchange.Donated by Mr. Robert Kuok Hock Nien, the library building is named "People’s Great Hall (百姓大楼)", in line with his wish that it become a hub of knowledge for everyone to learn and enjoy.
XMUM Research Highlighted in "One Year With the Madani Government"
The research conducted by the Center of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (CONNECT) at Xiamen University Malaysia under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun, the Director of CONNECT was featured in the exhibition One Year With the Madani Government, which aimed to disseminate and promote the new policies and initiatives introduced by the Unity Government since November 2022.

NESE Master Students Publish in Journal of Energy Chemistry
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Poh Wen Siong, Yiang Wen Jie, and Assistant Professor Dr. Braedan Foo Chuan Yi from New Energy and Science Engineering (NESE) programme for publishing a review article in Journal of Energy Chemistry (Q1, IF: 13.1).Both Poh Wen Siong and Yiang Wen Jie are master’s students under the supervision of Dr. Braedan Foo Chuan Yi.
CME Students Clinches First Runners-up in KPS Ekovative Challenge 2023
A group of undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia, won first runner-up in the KPS Ekovative Challenge 2023. Team CMEACES - comprising Jocelyn Lim Jean Yi, Leiu Yu Xuan, Said Ismail Amer Aref Yaser, Wong Man Kei, and Yeow Teck Ann and mentored by Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Parthiban Siwayanan - garnered the second spot in the national competition and secured a coveted trophy and RM 5,000 cash prize.
