AI+ Talk Series#1 Artificial Intelligence and Applications in Computer Vision
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) held the very first session of “AI+” Talk Series, an event organized by XMUM Institute of Artificial Intelligence, on 7 March 2019. The Institute will invite local and international experts to visit XMUM with the aims of:Promoting cutting edge thinking and practices in AI among faculty members and students of different areas;Exploring research and innovation topics through academic endeavours;Facilitating ideas exchange on AI concept and its application (hence “AI+”).

Dr. Kim Yun Jin Co-Authors Two Publications in The Lancet Neurology
The Office of Research and Innovation congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kim Yun Jin on his publications in The Lancet Neurology, an authoritative journal of original research, review, opinion, and news covering international issues relevant to neurologists worldwide.Dr. Kim co-authored two articles with more than 80 collaborators from across the world. XMUM “Wows” Students with the Newly Launched MBA Programme
An MBA Preview session was held at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on March 23, 2019 for prospective students to gain a better understanding of the newly launched programme.This MBA programme, which is the first post-graduate programme provided by XMUM, is set to welcome its pioneer batch of students in April 2019.“We want to ‘wow’ you (students) with the university, the courses and the lectures,” said Dr. Tee Keng Kok, the Director of XMUM MBA Centre.
