ICT Undergraduates Excel in National Symposium on Human Computer Interaction
The Research Management Center congratulates four undergraduate students from XMUM School of Electrical and Computer Engineering for winning 1 Gold Award and 3 Bronze Award in Fusion 2021 UX-Hackathon, a competitive design event which was a part of the National Symposium on Human Computer Interaction.
The theme of the symposium, “Harmonising Human-centred Technology, Art and Design Beyond Boundaries”, highlights the new challenges in the domain of interaction design. Under the guidance of Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar, the four students (Ng Jing Jie, Chan Wai Leong, Ng Seng Kai and Tan Yue Bing) participated in the symposium and presented their projects in the UX-Hackathon session.

Organized by myHCI-UX, the goal of FUSION 2021 is to map out the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) work by bringing together researchers and practitioners across Malaysia, as well as to set a path on how HCI can contribute to Malaysia’s ICT and digital transformation.
