Retrace Maritime Silk Road with XMUM Students
The Innovation Center congratulates five XMUM students for winning 1st Prize in the 2nd National College Student Tourism Design Competition, which was held on 2 November 2019 at Xiamen University Science and Art Center, China.This year, pariticpating teams were required to design creative works based on the theme “ocean tourism”. A total of 166 teams from 52 universities signed up for the competition with 122 entries. Finally, 11 teams from Xiamen University, China Academy of Art, XMUM, etc. were chosen to enter the final.
16 Teams Bring Awards Home in 1st China-Malaysia Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
The Innovation Center congratulates XMUM students for their excellent achievements in the 1st China-Malaysia Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The Award Ceremony was held on 23 October 2019, in China Cultural Center, Kuala Lumpur. 16 teams from Xiamen University Malaysia received awards for their outstanding performance, including 4 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 6 third prizes.
Dr. Tee Keng Kok Wins Silver Medal in Putra InnoCreative Competition
The Innovation Center congratulates Dr. Tee Keng Kok, Director of XMUM MBA Center, for winning silver medal for subcategory: Innovative Delivery (Student-Centered Learning [SCL] and e-learning) in Putra InnoCreative Carnival in Teaching and Learning (PICTL 2019). A national event showcasing higher education teaching and learning innovation, this competition was held by Centre for Academic Development (CADe) of University Putra Malaysia (UPM) from 16 to 17 October 2019.
2018 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship Awarded to 30 XMUM Students
Witnessed by their friends and family members, 30 outstanding students from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) proudly received the 2018 Chinese Ambassador Scholarship.
XMUM Student Rank Top 5 in ABB Intervarsity Innovation Challenge
The Innovation Center congratulates XMUM Information and Communication Technology (ICT) student Gan Qi Wen for ranking Top 5 in ABB Intervarsity Innovation Challenge 2019. Organized by ABB Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the final round of the competition was held on 21 October 2019 at Le Meredien Hotel Kuala Lumpur, with the theme “Writing the future of Digitalization and Sustainable Technologies”. During the event, Gan Qi Wen presented his project themed “Low Latency Technology” and won a cash prize of RM 1,500.
XMUM Teams Stand Out in China “AI+” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
Innovation Center congratulates two XMUM teams for winning grand prize and second prize in the 1st China “Artificial Intelligence Plus” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The final of the competition was held on 21 October 2019, at Baidu Campus, Beijing, China.
