XMUM Alumnus Publishes in Scientific Reports
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Feng Junzhe, an alumnus from Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme, Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Kang Chia Chao and team from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics and S.M.A.R.T. Nexus Centre of Excellence, on the publication of their recent research article in Scientific Reports, an SCIE Q1 journal with a latest impact factor of 4.9.

XMUM Students Win Bronze at 12th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament
A team of undergraduate students from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), won the Bronze Award in the International Track at the 2026 Grand Finals of the 12th China Undergraduate Medical Innovation Tournament & The Belt and Road International Competition, held on 16 August at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
CME Student Among Top Five at BEM Young Engineering Innovation Trophy 2026
A Year 4 Chemical Engineering undergraduate, Grace Theresa, represented Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) at the BEM Young Engineering Innovation Trophy 2026, held as part of the National Engineering Convention (NEC) 2026 and organised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She was shortlisted as one of 15 finalists under the Washington Accord Category and placed among the top five at the national competition.
