IPIRC Visited the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM)
The delegation from Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Center, Xiamen University Malaysia (IPIRC) and Xiamen University Intellectual Property Research Institute (IPRI), led by IPIRC Director, Professor Long Xiaoning and IPRI Dean, Professor Lin Xiuqin, visited the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM). The Deputy Secretary-General I of ACCCIM, Mr. Michael Chai Woon Chew, the ACCCIM National Council Member, Mr. Boo Chin Liong, and the ACCCIM representative for the IIC Malaysia, Mr. Tai Foong Lam hosted the delegation at the welcome meeting.

Students from Kasetsart University Taste Chinese Culture at XMUM
Xiamen University Malaysia Mobility Programme with Kasetsart University was successfully carried out from 26 February to 18 March 2023.The programme aims to offer students the opportunity to learn about Chinese culture, enriching their knowledge in Southeast Asian Studies. Special courses about Malaysia were also given to expose them to the country's diverse culture.

XMUM Signs MOA with BioLoop Sdn Bhd on Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) Fractionation
With the aim of maximizing the yield and quality of black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) fractions, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with BioLoop Sdn Bhd on 3 January 2023. This collaborative project aims to investigate the yield and quality of BSFL oil and defatted meals to maximize the utilization of BSFL while solving the problems of global food and feed stress as well as waste management.
