XMUM Enhances Collaboration with Cardiff University
On 24 February 2023, enhanced collaboration was formed between Cardiff University and Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). Revised 3+1 and 4+1 agreements were signed in the presence of Prof. Urfan Khaliq, the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences of Cardiff University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhang Ying, the Vice-President of Xiamen University Malaysia.

Tsinghua University Social Practice Team Visits Xiamen University Malaysia
On 15 February 2023, Assoc. Prof. Zhang Shuo from Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Tsinghua University paid a visit to Xiamen University Malaysia with his 14 students from the department’s social practice team, with the purpose of gaining insights on China’s university education model overseas.

SEM Students Win Bronze Award at China-ASEAN College Students Cross-border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates Li Jiayin and Jiang Jixiu from the School of Economics and Management for winning Bronze Award at China-ASEAN College Students Cross-border E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which was successfully closed in December 2022.

XMUM Signs MOU with NanoMalaysia & NanoQuartz under Biomass Innovation Circular Economy Programme
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NanoMalaysia Berhad & NanoQuartz Sdn Bhd on 16 February 2023, for the cooperation under the Biomass Innovation Circular Economy Programme (BICEP).With the purposes to capsulize and spur Malaysia’s economic prospect, BICEP is a government initiative for the production of valuable advanced materials with agricultural biomass waste.
