XMUM Hosts Intercultural Exchange Programme with Confucian Private Secondary School
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) hosted an intercultural exchange programme titled "Zun-Xia Lingering Rhymes" (尊·厦清韵), welcoming 43 students and three teachers from Confucian Private Secondary School. The programme was organised by the XMUM Tea Club with the aim of promoting cultural heritage appreciation and strengthening engagement between secondary and tertiary education institutions.
XMUM PhD Programme Receives First Full MQA Accreditation
The PhD in New Energy Science and Engineering programme offered by School of Energy and Chemical Engineering has been granted Full Accreditation (FA) by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), making it the first PhD programme at XMUM to receive Full Accreditation.The accreditation was endorsed at the MQA Accreditation Committee Meeting held on 29 April 2026.
"KCAS Running Man 4.0" Brings High-Energy Action and Teamwork to Campus
On 6 June 2026, the campus grounds of Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) transformed into an action-packed arena as XMUM Korean Cultures & Arts Society hosted the highly anticipated "Running Man 4.0". The event brought together students for a thrilling day of strategic games, intense physical challenges, and non-stop laughter.
TCM Society Hosts Inaugural Sol-Run Fun Run at XMUM
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Society organised its inaugural “Sol-Run” 4.0 KM Fun Run at the campus Track and Field on 23 May 2026 (Saturday). Inspired by the theme of “Sol” (sun) and “Run” (vitality), the event attracted 113 participants, including students, staff, and external participants.
Dr. Lai Sin Yuan and Team Publish in Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Lu Yichen, Asst. Prof. ChM. Dr. Lai Sin Yuan, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Noraini Mohd from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering on the publication of their recent research article in Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, an SCIE Q1 journal with a latest Impact Factor of 7.0.
