XMUM Team Named 1st Runner-Up at Eastspring Business Challenge 2025
The XMUM Alpha Team from the School of Economics and Management was named 1st Runner-Up in the prestigious Eastspring Business Challenge 2025, held on 26 April at Level 22, Menara Prudential, TRX. The event gathered students from over 60 universities across the region to pitch innovative strategies for recruiting young unit trust consultants for Eastspring Investments.

On 19 May 2025, the Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Centre (IPIRC) at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) will host the International Forum on “Intellectual Property Innovation and Governance in the Digital Economy Era”. Gu Tianze, a Year 3 undergraduate from the Marine Biotechnology (MBT) programme at the China-ASEAN College of Marine Sciences (CAMS), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), has recently published two peer-reviewed articles, including one in Ocean and Coastal Management, a Q1 journal in the field of oceanography."550 days, 78 weeks, 18 months - that's how long this journey lasted," said Gu Tianze when reflecting on his academic growth.
