Xiamen University's Research Vessel Tan Kah Kee Hosts Malaysia Public Open Days
On 2 August 2024, the opening ceremony for the Malaysia Public Open Days of the Tan Kah Kee Research Vessel (R/V TKK) was held at Port Klang. Over 100 guests attended, including representatives from Malaysian government, academia, industry, social organizations, as well as faculty and students from Xiamen University's main campus and Malaysia campus.

Four XMUM Academic Staff Secure Funding from the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme 2024
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates four academic staff from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) who have secured the prestigious grants under the Ministry of Higher Education’s Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS).The four recipients, from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, China-ASEAN College of Marine Science, and School of Computing and Data Science, have collectively been awarded a total of RM 535,188.

Angewandte Chemie's Dr. Su Xin Speaks on Scientific Writing and Publishing at XMUM
On 19 July 2024, Dr. Su Xin, Executive Editor of Angewandte Chemie International Edition, delivered a highly enlightening talk titled "Angewandte Chemie (IF=16.1): Scientific Writing and Publishing in the Wiley-VCH Publisher" at Xiamen University Malaysia.The event was a collaborative effort of the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering (SECE), the Center of Excellence for NaNo Energy and Catalysis Technology (CONNECT), and the Research and Postgraduate Center (RPC), attracting significant attention from both faculty and students.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Chin Min Yee, Qin Yuting, Hoy Zheng Xuan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mong Guo Ren, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tan Jian Ping, and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Vincent Woon Kok Sin (corresponding author) from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, for their recent research article published in Energy, an SCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 9.0.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Prof. Ir. Dr. Yong Wai Fen from the Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, for being awarded the Distinguished Women Scientist Award at the 2nd International Congress on Separation and Purification Technology 2024 (ISPT 2024).
