School of Communication Co-Hosts the 4th International Conference on Media Science and Digital Communication in Bali
From 28 to 29 October 2024, the School of Communication at Xiamen University Malaysia co-hosted the 4th International Conference on Media Science and Digital Communication (MSDC) (https://themediasci.com) in Bali. The event, chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Wang Changsong, Dean of the School, marked the first time the conference was held in a hybrid format, enabling both in-person and virtual participation. More than 60 presenters from 14 countries attended, underscoring the event’s global reach.

TCM Interns Engage in Cultural Exploration and Outdoor Activity with XMU Longyan TCM Hospital
On 31 October 2024, interns from School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xiamen University Malaysia participated in a cultural exploration and outdoor activity organized by the Xiamen University Affiliated Longyan Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Hospital. With the theme “Enhancing Knowledge for Growth, Growing through Action,” the event aimed to enrich the interns’ cultural understanding and personal growth.

XMUM Hosts Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Students for International Exchange
On 29 October 2024, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) welcomed 13 students from Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (YUTCM) to join a new International Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Exchange Program.This group includes 9 undergraduate students, who will participate for 6 weeks, and 4 postgraduate students, set to stay for 12 weeks.

Sixth Convocation Held at Xiamen University Malaysia
On 28 and 29 September, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) held the five ceremonies of its Sixth Convocation for the graduating class of 2024, with more than 2,900 students, parents, faculty members and guests attending.
