XMUM PhD Student Awarded "Digital Green Talents Award 2025"
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Joel Foo Jie, a PhD student from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), for being awarded the 2025 Digital Green Talents Award.An initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), the award honors 20 young researchers worldwide each year, with the purpose of promoting the international exchange of innovative green ideas that leverage digitalization to foster sustainable development.

XMUM Delegation Visits UPM
On 17 November 2025, a delegation from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) visited the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to further strengthen academic collaboration and enhance teaching quality under their ongoing TCM partnership.A delegation of 5 members from XMUM, led by Prof. Dr. Chen Shaodong, Dean of STCM, met with UPM representatives involved in the collaboration, including visiting lecturers, programme managers, and lab technicians supporting the teaching and management of eight Western Medicine courses under the TCM programme.
