2019 China Macroeconomic Roundtable Successfully Held at XMUM
On 25 October 2019, the “2019 China Macroeconomic Roundtable” was successfully held at Xiamen University Malaysia’s brand new Admin Center, which is located on the top floor of the university’s main library building, the People’s Great Hall.Co-organized by XMU and XMUM, the event attracted more than 100 academics and company executives, including representatives from University of Malaya, National University of Singapore, Fudan University, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), UCSI University, Yunan University, Deloitte, Edra, Huawei, Bank of China, etc.

Innovation Talk Series #13 A Sharing on Entrepreneurship and Postgraduate Application
Innovation Talk Series #13 was held by XMUM Innovation Center on 2 October 2019. Flora Liu Kexin and Gary Mao Yuan, both entrepreneurs with in-depth knowledge of various industries, shared their experiences on entrepreneurship and postgraduate application as guest speakers. A mini workshop centering entrepreneurship and innovation was then organized on 5 October to further enhance students’ understanding of this subject.

30 XMUM Students Volunteered at CIFIT 2019
30 student volunteers from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) were highly praised for their outstanding performance at China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) 2019, which was held from 8 to 11 September 2019 in Xiamen, China. One of the world's largest international events promoting trade and investment, this year’s CIFIT has attracted over 100,000 domestic and foreign businessmen and more than 3,000 enterprises from 120 countries and regions, including 50 countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative.

XMUM Held Its First Alumni Gathering
Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) held its first official alumni gathering on 28 September 2019, the same day of its Inaugural Convocation Ceremony. It marked the launch of its Student Alumni Office, which was officially established after the pioneer cohort graduated from XMUM.

Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) held its Inaugural Convocation Ceremony in the newly-furbished Auditorium on 28 September 2019. More than 1,000 students, parents, faculty, staff and guests attended the event.
