The 5th Photojournalism Exhibition Held at XMUM
SEPANG: The 5th Photojournalism Exhibition has been held at Xiamen University Malaysia from 24 to 27 December 2019.With the theme "Single Mother: The Sole Breadwinner", this exhibition is the final project of "Photojournalism", a course provided to students majoring in Journalism Programme. Dr. Wang Changsong, Programme Coordinator of Journalism & Advertising Programmes, and Mr. Muhammad Afiq Sukiman, the project advisor, were invited to officiate the opening ceremony on 24 December.

Innovation Talk Series #14 | Protecting Local Rivers via Effective Microorganism
Innovation Talk Series #14 was held on 18 December 2019 by Innovation Center, with Jordan Ng invited as the guest speaker. Concerned that the importance of Klang River has been undervalued by the local community, in 2016 he founded Kelab Warisan Sungai Klang (Klang River Heritage Club, or KWSK), a non-profit organization dedicated to protection and preservation of the River for future generations.

With the slogan of “hire the best, work for the best”, Career & Internship Fair 2019 was successfully held at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 18 December 2019. 20 large transnational as well as local companies from a wide range of sectors attended as recruiters, including PwC, Inventech, Hitachi eBowrx, Tan Chong Group, etc, offering students a great chance for internship and full-time job hunting.

XMUM Students Win Second Prize in Mathematical Contest in Modelling
Innovation Center congratulates three XMUM students for winning National Second Prize for their project, “Taxi driver decision model based on differential equation”, in the 2019 Contemporary Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling (CUMCM).
