XMU College of Chemical and Chemical Engineering Visits XMUM to Strengthen Academic Exchange and Collaboration

A delegation from the College of Chemical and Chemical Engineering (CCCE), Xiamen University, China and Fulongma Group visited Xiamen University Malaysia during 26-30 June 2023, in an effort to foster academic exchange and collaboration between institutions.
The visitation encompassed a series of engaging activities, including research talks, promotional talks, and informal discussions, which brought together scholars, professors, and students from both universities.

The visit commenced with opening remarks from XMUM Vice President and a highly anticipated research talk by Prof. Xie Suyuan from CCCE, which captivated the audience and stimulated meaningful discussions among attendees. The talk served as an excellent platform for academics and students to explore cutting-edge research topics and potential collaborations.

Prof. Ren Bin, the Vice Dean of CCCE, delivered a promotional talk about the postgraduate programs offered by the Main Campus. The informative session shed light on the various research opportunities and academic offerings available to students, providing information about pursuing postgraduate studies at Main Campus.

The following days featured a series of research talks delivered by faculty members from both the Main Campus and XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering (SECE). These talks covered a wide range of research areas, allowing participants to expand their knowledge and encouraging the exchange of ideas and potential research collaborations.

On the final day of the visitation, an informal discussion took place between the delegation members and the students and lecturers of SECE, paving the way for future collaborations, fostering mutual understanding and enhancing academic relationships.
