Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Xiamen University Malaysia, hosted an External Examiner (EE) and Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) Visit on 27 October 2023, to review the curriculum structure and to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality curriculum development.

The review was conducted by Prof. Ir. Dr. Kaharudin Bin Dimyati, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaya; and Mr. Solomon Ng Keng Long, Chairman & CEO of Shenzhen EnChip Semiconductor (China), Xiamen EnChip Semiconductor (China), EnChip Semiconductor Pte Ltd (Singapore). Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Wong Shen Yuong, the Head of EEE, chaired the visit.

During the visit, the visitors gained insights into the Department’s current endeavors and future plans through general meeting, campus tour, lab tour, and a discussion with lecturers and students. Mr. Solomon Ng Keng also engaged the students and staff with a captivating public talk, sharing invaluable experiences and industry insights.
