External Review Enhances TCM Programme at XMUM
On 3 March 2025, School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), welcomed Dr. Heng Aik Teng and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Te Kian Keong for an external review of the Bachelor of Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Honours) programme. The visit aimed to evaluate curriculum quality, assessment procedures, and alignment with industry standards.
Dr. Faizah Shahudin: My Greatest Asset is My Students
Dr. Faizah Shahudin is the Deputy Head of the International Business programme at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), and a founding member of the School of Economics and Management. Since joining XMUM in 2016 as a part-time lecturer, she has earned widespread recognition for her engaging teaching style and dedication, making her known among students as the warmest lecturer.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Gok Xie Yuen and Prof. Ir. Dr. Yong Wai Fen (corresponding author) from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering on their recent research article published in Journal of Membrane Science, an SCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 8.4.
New Cohort Embarks on Their TCM Journey at February Orientation
On 13 February 2025, the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM) welcomed 13 new students from the 2025/02 intake in a dedicated orientation event.The event commenced with opening remarks from Prof. Chen Shaodong, Dean of STCM, and Dr. Lim Chee Hoong, STCM Student Union Advisor, who extended their heartfelt welcome and encouragement. Dr. Chep Lee Lu Siang, Head of Programme, introduced the faculty and key academic guidelines, ensuring that new students have a clear understanding of their curriculum.
