School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Recognized at International Conference
The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), proudly participated in the International Conference on AYUSH & Chinese Medicine, held from 5–6 July 2025 at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. The event brought together scholars, practitioners, and students engaged in advancing traditional and complementary medicine.A total of 35 participants from XMUM's School of TCM attended the event, including students and faculty member Dr. Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, who led the delegation and actively engaged in the conference sessions.
Prof. Ong Wee Jun & Team Publish Photocatalysis Breakthrough
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun, Director of the Centre of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (CONNECT) and Assistant Dean of the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, on his recent publication in Applied Catalysis B: Environmental and Energy, a peer-reviewed Q1 journal by Elsevier with an impact factor of 21.1.

It is designed to meet the increasing global demand for expertise in semiconductor technology, which underpins key developments in digitalisation, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Loh Jian Yiing, Yap Feng Ming, and Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering (SECE) and the Centre of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (CONNECT) on their recent publication in Small, a peer-reviewed journal by Wiley (Q1, IF: 12.1). Their work was selected as the Frontispiece of the journal’s latest issue, highlighting its significance within the research community.
