Over 20 years ago, he left Malaysia to study and work in Taiwan, the U.S., and the U.K. Now, in his forties, he has returned home to take on a new role in academia.
White Coat Ceremony Marks New Chapter for TCM Students

This book blends classical TCM with modern clinical practices, offering readers valuable insights into diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Through a series of clinical case studies, it emphasizes the practical application of TCM principles, providing actionable strategies for diagnosis and treatment based on classical Chinese medical theory.

Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) is placed 2nd in Malaysia by Nature Index Ranking based on research outputs from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024, marking continual progress in the University’s research excellence.Nature Index is an open database that tracks institutions and countries and their scientific output. The Index tracks contributions to research articles published in high quality natural science and health science journals, chosen based on reputation by an independent group of researchers.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Yap Feng Ming, Loh Jian Yiing, and Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun (corresponding author) from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering and the Center of Excellence for NaNo Energy & Catalysis Technology (CONNECT) for their recent research article published in Advanced Functional Materials, an SCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 18.5. According to Clarivate (Web of Science), Advanced Functional Materials ranks in the top 4% of journals in the multidisciplinary chemistry category.
