XMUM School of Traditional Chinese Medicine Co-Organizes the 2nd Malaysia Acupuncture Forum
The School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM) at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) served as a co-organizer of the 2nd Malaysia Acupuncture Forum, held on 25 May 2025 at the AC Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.The forum was hosted by the Malaysia Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association, and brought together leading experts and scholars to exchange knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Gok Xie Yuen, Lau Hui Shen and Prof. Ir. Dr. Yong Wai Fen from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering on their recent research article published in Results in Engineering, an SCI Q1 journal with a current impact factor of 6.0.This article is featured in the 2024 RINENG Distinguished Scientist and Young Investigator Award special issue.
XMUM Wins Gold at IBCEx for AI-Powered Biofertilizer
CME Master's students Malvin and Ng Xiao Qi from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering secured the Gold Award (First Place) in the postgraduate category at the 11th International Biotechnology Competition and Exhibition (IBCEx25), held on 17 May 2025 at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor.
The 7th Stellar Prize Concludes with Record-Breaking Participation
The 7th Stellar Prize (TSP), organized by the School of Communication, Xiamen University Malaysia, was successfully concluded on 16 May 2025. This year, TSP attracted participants from 14 universities across Malaysia, including Taylor’s University, Sunway University, UTAR, and INTI International University. With over 400 submissions, the competition reached a record-breaking milestone with the highest number of entries since its inception.
Humanities Forum #19: Chinese Civilization and the Tiaoshan Salt Lake
On 16 May 2025, the 19th session of the XMUM Humanities Forum was successfully held by the Department of Chinese Studies, focusing on the topic “Chinese Civilization and the Tiaoshan Salt Lake”.
