Sean Elijah Tan: Building a Stellar Stage for communication studentsSean Elijah Tan, a third-year Journalism student at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), spent his past semester break preparing the Stellar Prize (TSP) 2021.As the organising chairperson, Sean aimed to grow the event from an internal award showcasing the work of XMUM Journalism and Advertising students, to an open stage for all university students in communications-related subjects.

NESE Student Wins Best Oral Presentation Award at 7th International Conference on Low Carbon and Asia Beyond
Chin Min Yee, a master's student from New Energy Science and Engineering Programme (NESE), XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, has won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 7th International Conference on Low Carbon and Asia Beyond.With the title of Exploring the Life Cycle Environmental Performance of Different Microbial Fuel Cell Configurations, the paper she presented at the conference is a collaborative work between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Xiamen University Malaysia.

XMUM Wins Gold Award at the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Competition
Innovation Center congratulates the 13 XMUM teams who brought home 1 Gold Award, 1 Silver Award and 11 Bronze Awards from the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (“Internet+” Competition).This is the first time that a XMUM team has won Gold Award at “Internet+” Competition. To date, XMUM students has taken home a total of 29 awards (1 Gold Award, 6 Silver Awards, and 22 Bronze Awards) from “Internet+” competitions.
