After the talk, the Chinese Embassy conducted interviews for candidates of airport helpdesk volunteers. Operating at both KLIA and KLIA2 since 2017, this initiative organizes mandarin-speaking volunteers to provide assistance to tourists and travelers from China. Volunteers would provide translation services to help the tourists better communicate with immigration officers and airport staff, as well as assist the travelers in dealing with emergencies and unforeseen problems that they encountered during their journey.
