55 clubs and societies presented themselves in “A Midsummer Night's Rave”, the physical Recruitment Drive of September 2022 semester, attracting thousands of new and existing students of Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM).

The English Literature Association held its first book sharing session on May 6th, 2022. Yi Tong and Zhang Junxiao, the presidents of the Association, hosted the meeting.

First Inter-University Swimming Competition Held at XMUM
XMUM Swimming Club has held its first ever Inter-University Swimming Competition on 14 December 2019, to encourage interaction and experience-sharing among swimmers from different universities and cultural backgrounds.The Competition attracted representatives from XMUM, Manipal International University, Multimedia University Cyberjaya, Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, and University of Nottingham Malaysia, with one participant from Nottingham winning the trophy of the Most Valuable Player.

XMUM staff team wins basketball match against Sinohydro
XMUM staff team defeated Sinohydro Group team by 42-32 in a basketball match on Dec 16, 2017. This is the first victory of the XMUM staff basketball team since its formation.For the fans of XMUM, this match was quite a thrill. Though XMUM team took a 10-4 lead in the first quarter, it was 6 points behind the Sinohydro team when the first half ended. The team finally took full control of the game in the last quarter by strengthening the press defense and gained points through steals, and won over Sinohydro at 42-32.

Orientation for Students of September 2017 Intake
On the 23rd and 24th of September, about 800 local and international students attended an orientation organized by the staff, faculty, and students of Xiamen University Malaysia. This orientation, which was aptly themed “Second Home”, was co-sponsored by two multinational conglomerates, namely AirAsia and China Construction Bank Malaysia (CCBM).
