Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) secured one gold and one bronze medal at the 30th SUKIPT Higher Education Institution Games, held from 28 August to 6 September 2026 at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.

The university sent a contingent of 54 student-athletes and six delegation officers to compete in nine sports: volleyball, basketball, track and field, tennis, table tennis, taekwondo, badminton, swimming and chess. The 2026 games marked the XMUM's fourth participation in SUKIPT since 2018.

In track and field, Kok Hui Ying, a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine student, claimed the gold medal in the Women's 10,000m Race Walk. She completed the event in 55 minutes 31.97 seconds, setting a new personal best time.

The XMUM Men's Basketball Team also secured a podium finish after defeating Monash University 70–63 in the third-place playoff, earning the bronze medal.
