General Information
School of Information Science and Technology was established in Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) to provide science and engineering courses. It is an important interdisciplinary faculty in the university, aims at developing as a centre of excellence, especially in the current age of information.
This school has established extensive ties through academic exchange and cooperation with many world-renowned universities and enterprises. One of the main successes of this school is winning the Exemplary Software School Construction Achievements Prize for Software School conferred by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
The school has appointed over 20 internationally and domestically well-known scholars as part-time, guest or honorary professors including members of the Engineering Academies of the US and Canada.
Each academic program equips the graduates with the skills in order to pursue their career within the field of computer science, information communication technology, multimedia, cyber security and other IT field.
