Biography
You Hui Wei, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor at Xiamen University Malaysia, while also contributing as a Research Fellow at UNITAR International University and an Adjunct Supervisor at SEGi University. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak in 2022. Her research has appeared in leading journals, including Business Process Management Journal, Business & Information Systems Engineering, International Journal of Finance & Economics, Global Finance Journal, and Global Business Review. Recognized with UNITAR’s Best Paper Award, Dr. You’s scholarly interests lie at the intersection of finance, and crowdfunding, where she continues to advance knowledge through both publication and mentorship.

Heriot-Watt University (UK) & Partners; Funded by the British Academy, 2025–2027
Selected participant in a fully funded international programme for women early-career researchers in Malaysia, focusing on academic writing, mentoring, and collaborative research development in the areas of language, culture, and migration. The programme covers travel, accommodation, and subsistence, and aims to establish a research network, develop a journal special issue, and prepare a collaborative grant proposal.
