Biography

Dr. Zamratul is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in both the industry and academia. She earned her PhD in Visual Informatics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2022, showcasing her dedication to advancing her expertise. Prior to this, she completed her Master's degree in Computer Science at Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2005.

With over a decade of industry experience and seven years of involvement in education, she brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her academic pursuits. Her research interests span various domains, including Interaction Design, User Interface Development, Game-based Learning, Gamification, Educational Technology, Database Management Systems, and Website Design.

Her focus on Children Computer Interaction, a specialized field within Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), demonstrates her commitment to leveraging technology to empower the youngest members of society. She actively engages children in participatory design, ensuring that educational software is tailored to their needs. Her work promotes digital literacy among children, equipping them with essential skills for the digital age. Her research also places a strong emphasis on fostering high-level thinking (HOTS), nurturing creativity, and improving problem-solving abilities in young minds.
