Biography

Ms Teo Siew has been serving in the field of higher education since 2004, with extensive experience in academic teaching, programme management, and quality assurance. Throughout the years, she has actively contributed as a lecturer for computer-related courses and thesis supervision, as well as serving as a programme coordinator, overseeing the academic management and welfare of more than 900 students.

In addition, Ms Teo Siew has been invited to serve as an external examiner for colleges, reflecting her academic expertise and professional recognition within the education sector. She also possesses valuable experience in providing lectures and professional education to working adults, including teachers from government schools and personnel from the police workforce.

Apart from academic responsibilities, Ms Teo Siew previously served as a Quality Enhancement Manager cum Quality Assurance Representative, playing a significant role in ensuring continuous quality improvement and compliance with academic standards. She also has administrative management experience at the postgraduate level, overseeing academic coordination, student affairs, and programme-related administrative functions.
Currently, Ms Teo Siew serves as a Manager in the Academic Affairs Office at Xiamen University Malaysia, supporting MPU and General Elective courses, while continuing to contribute to academic administration and university development.
