Biography

Nur Hidayatul Akma Safian is an experienced educator in English Language and Applied Linguistics with nearly 16 years of teaching experience in both public and private higher education institutions. She holds a Master of Applied Linguistics (English Language) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2010) and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language from the same university (2007). Her academic background provides a strong foundation in English language studies, linguistics, and language education.

Throughout her teaching career, she has been actively involved in tertiary-level instruction, focusing on developing students’ language proficiency, academic writing skills, and critical thinking abilities. Her experience across various higher education settings has enabled her to adapt to diverse learning environments and student needs, while applying an applied linguistics perspective to support her effective teaching.
