Biography
Dr. Mushayydha Farooq is a dedicated researcher and educator specializing in cosmology, gravitation, and modified theories of gravity. She completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics, focusing on cosmological phenomena such as compact stars, bouncing cosmology, and wormhole structures within the framework of Einstein -Gauss-Bonnet gravity and related theories.
Her research contributions include publications in reputable international journals, where she has explored topics like Casimir wormholes, stellar modelling, bouncing behaviours in cosmology, and the role of non-commutative geometries in higher-dimensional gravity. She is particularly interested in connecting abstract mathematical structures such as differential geometry and topology with physical applications in cosmology and theoretical physics.
Dr. Farooq also has extensive teaching experience at both college and university levels. She has taught courses in complex analysis, real analysis, differential equations, linear algebra, fluid mechanics, calculus, advanced calculus, topology, and vector/tensor analysis. Her teaching journey spans institutions including Islamia University, University of Lahore, University of Management and Technology, and her home institute during her doctoral studies. She is passionate about mentoring students and simplifying complex mathematical and physical concepts for diverse learners.
With a strong publication record and a commitment to high-quality research, Dr. Farooq aims to expand her expertise by exploring interdisciplinary approaches particularly in bridging mathematics, cosmology, and applied physical models. She is also actively seeking opportunities to collaborate internationally and to continue contributing to the advancement of knowledge in theoretical physics and cosmology.
