Biography

Subashini Ganapathy is a lecturer and the Final Year Project (FYP) Lead at the Faculty of Computing, Xiamen University Malaysia. With over six years of experience in academic leadership and teaching, she oversees FYP operations across five undergraduate programs such as Software Engineering (SWE), Data Management Technology (DMT), Computer Science Technology (CST), Cyber Security (CYS), and Data Science (DSC). In this role, she leads a team of coordinators in managing proposal evaluations, supervision allocations, thesis submissions, and presentation schedules, ensuring quality and alignment with institutional policies.

Her teaching expertise spans Software Engineering, Database Systems, Cyber Security, and Research Fundamentals. She has supervised numerous Final Year Projects focusing on software development, authentication systems, and penetration testing, with several projects demonstrating strong innovation and industry relevance.

Her scholarly contributions include the research publication “The Maturity of Knowledge Management Practices in the Malaysian Public Sector” (Journal of Information System and Technology Management, 2023) and the book Matrik Amalan Pengurusan Pengetahuan Sektor Awam Malaysia (UKM Press, 2024). She also holds Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Train-the-Trainer (TTT) certifications, with a Professional Certification in Data Analytics (University Malaysia Kelantan) expected in 2026.
