Biography

I have accumulated more than 25 years of experience in academia and the information technology industry. He has worked with several renowned organizations, including a software house in the United States and Sony IT in Malaysia, before joining Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), where I continue to serve as an academician.
Throughout my academic career at UNITEN, I have been actively involved in various research projects and has supervised numerous Ph.D. students, contributing significantly to the university’s research and innovation ecosystem. My research interests lie primarily in Extended Reality (XR) technologies, encompassing Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Augmented Reality (AR) that focus on leveraging these immersive technologies to enhance education and medical applications, exploring how immersive environments can improve learning experiences, engagement, and practical skill development.
Over the years, I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to integrate XR solutions into teaching, training, and healthcare settings. My passion for innovation, combined with a deep commitment to advancing immersive technology research, continues to inspire both my students and peers in the academic and professional communities.
