Biography
Dr Yoong Kooi Kuan is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Data Science, Xiamen University Malaysia. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu in 2024. Since 2016, she has gained her teaching experience and has taught various undergraduate mathematics courses. She is dedicated to delivering complex mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible way, helping students develop a deep understanding of the subject. Her research focuses on Graph Theory, with a particular emphasis on Graph Labeling. She investigates the conditions under which graphs admit specific labeling schemes and works on determining their corresponding lower and upper bounds. Beyond theoretical exploration, she is also extending her research to include practical applications of Graph Labeling.
