Biography

Dr. Chandra Reka Ramachandiran is an Assistant Professor and the Head of Programme for Software Engineering department at Xiamen University Malaysia who is passionate about teaching and research. Her research interests lie in the area of Affective Engineering ( Kansei Engineering), Instructional Technologies, Human Computer Interaction, Mixed Reality as well as Artificial Intelligence. 
In addition to her academic achievements, Chandra Reka is a certified and trained educator, holding a Diploma in Teaching (KPLI) that emphasizes teaching pedagogy and the national education framework. With extensive experience as a Senior Lecturer and an active researcher, she has presented and published prolifically in renowned IEEE, ACM and Springer conferences and journals. She has also successfully secured multiple national and internal research grants, further enhancing her contributions to the field.
Chandra Reka's notable accomplishments include being awarded the JASSO Scholarship, which facilitated research collaboration between the University of Malaya and Chiba University in Japan. These achievements have propelled her to greater heights in the research arena.
Notably, Chandra Reka possesses expertise in facilitating, coaching and guiding individuals at all levels, including postgraduate students. Her impressive track record includes the research and design of successful projects in trending technologies such as E-Learning, AI, Mixed reality and Data Science.
