Biography

Dr. Norzita Yunus is an Assistant Professor at the School of Communication, Xiamen University Malaysia. Her research interests include intercultural communication, interpersonal communication, intergroup relations, social psychology and new media. Her expertise in the area of intercultural communication has got her appointed as a Guest/Resident Speaker in the training of Malaysian diplomats and officials prior to their assignments abroad. She has also been invited by a number of government agencies to provide training on communication skills. Dr Norzita has supervised students both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has graduated a few PhD students. She has served as an editorial board member for several academic journals and a judge for the Best Paper Awards, both locally and internationally.
