The Master of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Program at Xiamen University Malaysia has achieved full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) following a visit on June 26, 2023.

Two expert panelists, Prof. Dr. Zulkifley Mohamed (UPSI) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Fatimah Wan Ahmad (Universiti Teknologi Petronas), along with MQA's officer, Puan Nur Farahana binti Mohd Taib, meticulously assessed seven aspects of the programme and spoke highly of its development.
This accreditation attests to the programme's curriculum, faculty expertise, resources, and overall commitment to delivering a high-quality educational experience for students.

In 2021, the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Honours) received full accreditation from MQA following an evaluation by the panelists, Prof. Dr. Zulkifley Mohamed (UPSI) and Assoc. Dr. Hasimah Sapiri (UUM), as well as MQA's officer, Madam Enda Nurwani Binti Ngah Deman.

The approval of both mathematics programs by MQA plays a crucial role in shaping the future of mathematics education and contributing to the development of a knowledgeable and skilled workforce, thereby enhancing the nation's competitiveness and overall progress.
