The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Zhao Wenqi, an undergraduate from the Finance programme at the School of Economics and Management, Xiamen University Malaysia on winning the Outstanding Paper Award in the 2023 Undergraduate Public Management Innovation Forum and “Qizhen” (启真) Summer Camp held by Zhejiang University during 5-8 July, 2023.

He is one of the two recipients of this award among the 788 participants.

Entitled “How do environmental regulations affect green innovation? – A path analysis based on fsQCA”, his paper explores the public policies impact on the industrial structural upgrade based on fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). He also introduced his research on the influence of environmental regulations on green innovation at the forum. Due to his outstanding performance, he is offered the direct admission to the Doctorate of Philosophy (in Management) program at Zhejiang University, a top university in China.
