The much-promulgated impacts of climate change over the past decades are conspicuous of late. The sustainability agenda across all disciplines has never been so pressing. This knowledge-sharing session organized by the External Affairs Committee of the School of Economics and Management, Xiamen University Malaysia - to be delivered by the World Bank expert on 3 October 2022 from 8:30 pm – 9:30 pm (Malaysian time) - aims to provide an in-depth discussion on the urgent issues pertaining to climate change, the headwinds of sustainability, and its economic nexus. Specifically, the World Bank’s latest research demonstrates that there are significant opportunities for using the world’s scarce and valuable natural capital more efficiently.

The event is expected to benefit academic staff, researchers, and students.
