XMUM School of Computing and Data Science congratulates Tan Xin Yii, a 2019/04 intake undergraduate of Software Engineering programme, on receiving the Silver Award at Educational Design, Games, Invention & Innovation Competition 2022 (EDGII), which took place from 28 November 2021 to 15 April 2022 virtually. Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar is the research’s supervisor.

In the project entitled “Effectiveness of Ai Security Layer in Cloud-based E-learning in the Era of Covid-19 Malaysia”, the researchers propose that cloud-based E-learning has the potential to enhance the online environment and improve students’ learning experiences. According to Tan Xin Yii, the cloud-based E-learning system will provide a good experience to all institutions while reducing the drawbacks of traditional E-learning, such as insufficient learning materials, lack of communication between the students and lecturers, etc. 

EDGII 2022 is a virtual platform for participants from a variety of fields and backgrounds to compete at the National Level. Organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA, this competition presents an exciting opportunity for participants to gain recognition for their inventions.
