Ong Jin Poh: You Know Him for Mathematics but He Led an Orchestra Too
At the 2025 Commencement Ceremony of Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), Ong Jin Poh from the Department of Mathematics was invited to deliver a speech as a student representative.For many, Ong Jin Poh is known for his academic excellence. Yet beyond the classroom, he holds another identity - a Chinese orchestra conductor who has actively shaped campus cultural life throughout his undergraduate years.
